Location Location Location

The course is flanked by 17th-century buildings with thousands of cobbles, a shifting gradient. The location of the event is part of what makes it so special, but it’s the people and traders on the hill that give it colour.

Starting at the base of Stony Street by the Shop Next Door, the course takes a sharp turn onto Catherine Hill, climbing 179 yards before ending where the cobbles give way, outside Pilea Plant Shop, at the hill’s summit.

There are dozens of brilliant shops on the hill, we’ll be showcasing each of them over the next few weeks.
